Sino - NZ Tourism Group Limited is a newly formed strategic alliance (joint venture) of industry people geared towards developing and nurturing opportunities in the various sectors of both countries. While our head office is in New Zealand, our immediate focus is China where we have established a strong presence across many sectors. We were established as a company in 2005 and have since experienced rapid growth in large part due to our service ethos which is now highly regarded globally. The Group now operates SinoNZ Tourism, Xi'an Travel Service, Software in Xi'an, Nomad Global Trading Company, and Hq Guesthouse in Xi'an. Initially we developed a tourism arm which provides central accommodation in Xi'an for families, couples and independent travellers of all ages and specialized in tours that are both flexible and culturally enriching. The tourism arm of our company is now split into distinct sections:

We can now offer accommodation in Xi'an to all levels of travellers.

"Putting the X into Xi'an travel", XTS provides high quality and flexible culture tours around Xi'an with standard and with frills options. In addition the business provides extremely cheap flight tickets for internal travel in China, Yangtze River Cruises (5 star, 4 star and standard options), Beijing culture Tours and other services such as Tour guides, etc.

While we remain strongly focused on the travel industry, we have also taken heed of other developments and opportunities to which the Chinese economic miracle and the FTA with NZ have opened the door. We are currently searching for a long term New Zealand partner with whom we can push this project forward. As mentioned we are ideally situated to work synergetically with a NZ and/ or Australian tourisim company.

Ideal for school trips, teaching professionals and higher learning institutions. In addition we offer fully accredited Chinese courses for all levels from beginner through professional. Nomad Global Education is currently seeking a learning institution in New Zealand who can offer educational packages to Chinese students in NZ.

Silkroad Book Club in Xi'an
This is our chance to give something back to the local community here in Xi'an. As we know there is a shortage of Quality English books available in this ancient city, so we aim to provide this product by operating an English Book Library which will both assist local students and business professionals in their careers and also cater to the growing expatriate community of Xian. This will be a non profit venture which we hope will encourage further discource and cement friendships between our cultures.

Progress and Opportunity

In short, the initial progress has been beyond our wildest expectations with our websites receiving more than 145,000 visitors in the last year alone, while revenue confounded the global financial "hypesis" with strong growth. Due to the historic signing of the FTA between NZ and China at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Monday April 7, 2008 we believe we are ideally situated to further our business objectives.
